Hillsborough One Senior Squadron has an active role in Search and Rescue (SAR) missions as directed by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center (AFRCC) at Langley AFB, Virginia

Aerospace Education
CAP promotes and supports aerospace education, both for its members and the general public. CAP educational programs help prepare American citizens to meet the challenges of an aerospace society.

Cadet Programs
The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Cadet Program affords our youth with many opportunities to develop leadership skills through an aerospace program. Hillsborough One is a Senior Squadron and does not have Cadet members, however we do support Cadet Programs through hosting Cadet orientation flights.
